Maps and terrain description
Maps: IOF norms – Spring 2008 – 1/10 000 and 1/15 000
In collaboration with Ukrainian map maker Orest Kotylo and Bogdan Stramyk
Terrains will be similar to those used for the 3 days of Belgium 2008. See map extracts in annex. They present some steep valleys and numerous small contour details, mostly old charcoal burning places. The vegetation is very detailed; and varies strongly from place to place. Visibility and runnability can thus change quickly along the races, open forests sections alternating with sections presenting a thicker vegetation.

Electronic Punching System
EMIT punching system will be used for all JEC races. EMIT cards will be provided on request.

Coming to ARLON by plane:
Ryanair has flights to Charleroi (B) and to Hahn (D).
Bruxelles National (Zaventem) airport, is served by many airlines.
Luxembourg airport (Findel) is served by many airlines.

To rent a vehicle, you can contact the numerous car renting agencies which have renting points in the airports: www.avis.be, www.hertz.be, www.keddy.be, …
